Service Engineer X 2 - Salary range £30-£40k depending on experience

Job Description

The role

Primarily provide breakdown assistance to our extensive client base, including aerospace, defence and automotive sectors. With this in mind the applicant must be able to demonstrate a good ability to fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical faults on a varied range of CNC machinery. Do routine servicing and preventative maintenance on site whilst also being able to identify possible faults and issues to clients before they happen.   

Qualifications and attributes

We are seeking a time served engineer with machine tool experience. In addition, a city & guilds certificate in engineering with an electrical discipline involved and/or BTEC national diploma in engineering. HNC certificate would be an advantage but not essential. Applicant will need to be able to use Microsoft office tools (word/excel) to a good level. 


Here at CNC Repair (UK) Ltd we aim to build the strongest team of engineers so there is the potential to allow our engineers to go onto further education on day release, this is an option of a successful candidate. Two of our engineers have already completed engineering degrees at Birmingham University through this programme.
