The CNC Repair (UK) Ltd’s slideway grinding service can be performed covering single components or features through to the full rebuild of a complete slideway system, including drive mechanisms (ballscrew’s), feedback systems (linear scales) and protection (covers, bellow etc). Other considerations including machine alignments and geometric tolerances can be accommodated.
We have many years experience re-grinding damaged & worn slideways, applying anti-friction materials such as Turcite, and the subsequent hand scraping to ensure flatness. Recent slideway projects include machines producing: Jaguar Landrover hubs, landing gear & Aerospace bearings.
